about
This first single was written about 4 years ago in a practice space where we grew up and became a band. This song is a way to describe the transition from fear to security in our everyday lives. Drums were tracked at the Atlanta Institute of Music, while everything else has been tracked in different locations with various producers along the way. We thank everyone who helped us to create and finally put something of ours into the world! -Tidalist
lyrics
Lyrics
Two separate ways, my path's set in days... so near.
Life set in matter but my mind is set in fear
never letting go of the past and living for the end
praying please forgive me father for i have sinned
Chorus
Opportunity is knocking at the door
and you cant keep running from your passion anymore
Mind over matter is what they say
but when your heart is screaming, please don't be afraid
it's okay...
just stay...
with cold comfort and decay
now the other half declares that it solemnly swears
to never be impaired you mustn't ever have a care
don't stray from the path thats set
live a life with out worry or regret
...But it's all a lie
Chorus
